George Small died Wednesday at the home of his son-in-law, CB Harvey on College Street. He was 79 years of age.

George Small died this morning at 11:45 at the home of his son-in-law CB Harvey on East College street of blood poisoning caused by a broken leg that never healed up properly. He was 79 years 10 months and 7 days old and leaves 9 children and also a brother at Waynetown. The funeral will occur Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Christian Church in Waynetown, conducted by Rev. JP Lowe. Interment at the Masonic Cemetery.
